Always a success, a filled chicken sandwich. Nice at lunch, but also as a main course. Delicious with Asian flavors, such as sambal and the use of taug & eacute; and fried onions and coconut. Somewhat different from a cheese sandwich.
1. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes. Chop the onion, press the garlic and cut the mushrooms into slices. Cut the lid of the Kaiser sandwich and roll out the roll with a spoon. Mix the sweet soy sauce, honey and brown sugar in a small bowl.
2. Heat the peanut oil in a wok and fry the onion with garlic and sambal to taste. Add the chicken and let it cook. Add the mushrooms and the soy sauce and let it simmer for 20 minutes. If the sauce is too thin, tie it with cornstarch.
3. Fill the hollowed-out sandwich with the chicken and garnish with the fried onions, coconut and spring onion.
